Abbey Road inspired optical compressor. Well, it might be an opto compressor but it's miles away from an LA2A. Given the controls it has,  is a surprisingly deep piece of gear that can operate almost invisibly, just slightly knocking off some peaks and adding a bit of sonic weight - or it can absolutely slay. We were expecting it to do much of that slaying on drums, but find that it is even more useful doing some real harm to piano tracks. A mono clip-on mic on the piano soundboard into the Diezengoff D4 into a heavily breathing TG500 is a great route to sounds that sit somewhere between Northern Soul jams and Spoon records. On vocals it comes and goes - seems like this compressor is a bit picky about the kind of singers it loves.
