This one has been around for a while. It was one of the earlier pedals that took a combination of fuzz, and analog octave up (+1 and +2) and octave down (-1) to achieve sounds that go from bubbling analog funk synth to arcade game madness. It does all that very well.
Indeed, it still does most of this better than a lot more recent pedals, that have funkier names and goofier paint jobs (and come from companies that don't also have drives for blues lawyers). Even in our pedal shelf it probably gets overlooked sometimes, which is a shame. (Although, truth be told, this might also be down to the fact that there are only so many usecases for this kind of fuzz).
